概念整合视角下英汉名名复合词意义构建研究

【摘要】：随着人类社会的进步和科技的发展,各个领域的新词层出不穷。作为表达新概念的重要构词形式,复合词表现出了强大生命力和能产性,是语言学界长期关注的一个重要课题。而无论在英语还是汉语中,名名复合词皆因其数量众多、意义构建方式复杂成为语言学家研究的焦点。以往对英汉名名复合词的研究主要着力于对其语言形式的研究,如词法、句法、语义。但对名名复合词意义构建的认知机制还有待深入研究。概念整合理论作为认知语言学的重要组成部分,重点研究意义的动态构建过程和语言意义生成的空间机理,为人们研究语言背后的认知活动提供了统一的理论框架,在构建词汇意义方面具有强大的解释力。因此,本文试图运用概念整合理论,对英汉名名复合词的意义构建过程进行阐释。本文以认知语言学为理论背景,从概念整合理论视角研究英汉名名复合词的意义构建过程。在福克纳等人提出的概念整合理论中,主要包括四种整合网络分别为简单网络,镜像网络,单域网络和双域网络。本文运用这四种网络分别对英汉名名复合词进行语义解构,分析复合词的不同组成部分所表达的概念是如何整合成新概念的,论证英汉名名复合词的语义可分析性和意义的动态性。并在此基础上揭示了英汉名名复合词丰富语义构建的认知机制。研究表明,英汉名名复合词在其意义构建过程中体现着相同的认知机制。我们需要从概念或概念之间相互作用的心智层面来理解其意义生成的认知机制。
[Abstract]:With the progress of human society and the development of science and technology , the new words in various fields are not poor . As an important word for expressing the new concept , the compound words show strong vitality and productivity , which are the focus of long - term attention in the linguistic circle .

As an important part of cognitive linguistics , the concept integration theory focuses on the dynamic construction process of the meaning and the spatial mechanism of linguistic significance . It provides a unified theoretical framework for the cognitive activities behind the language . Therefore , this paper tries to explain the meaning construction process of English and Chinese name compound words by using the concept integration theory .

This paper takes cognitive linguistics as the theoretical background to study the meaning construction process of English and Chinese name compound words from the perspective of conceptual integration . In the theory of concept integration , the author mainly includes four kinds of integration networks : simple network , mirror network , single - domain network and two - domain network .
