跨文化交际下导游词的翻译

【摘要】:随着全球化的深入,越来越多的外国游客到中国来参观游玩,中国的旅游业也受其影响。那么中文导游词英译就显得非常有必要。一份规范,幽默的导游词能够准确的介绍旅游景点的文化和历史,能够使外国游客准确的了解中国文化。相应的,一份不合规范甚至错漏百出的导游词很可能会造成文化交流的障碍,不能起到相互交流的作用。因此,我们应该给予导游词翻译足够的重视。该实践报告以跨文化交际为理论基础,以笔者整理翻译的导游词为例,对翻译实践中的准备、翻译过程、译后工作等进行讨论,并从词汇、句法这两个层面探讨了跨文化交际在导游词翻译中的应用,总结了导游词翻译的策略和技巧。本文第一章探讨了导游词翻译的背景,并介绍了此次翻译任务的由来以及该研究的意义。第二章介绍了导游词的语言特点和文本特点,翻译过程以及译后的审校工作。第三章从跨文化交际的理论出发,结合导游词翻译的特点,探索跨文化交际和导游词翻译的关系。第四章从词法和句法两个层面,列出翻译过程中的问题,结合跨文化交际理论采取相应的翻译策略,比如直译,音译,意译,类比,增补,删减法等等。第五章回顾论文的整体思路,并在此基础上得出结论,即在跨文化交际理论的指导下,导游词的翻译应充分考虑其语言和文本特点,在此基础上运用相应的翻译策略。但是任何理论和策略都有其局限性,我们应该学会具体问题及分析。翻译过程表明,实践需要理论来支撑,中文导游词英译的过程中应充分考虑到其特定的语言和文体特点,从跨文化交际角度,总结出相应的翻译策略。但是本文总结的翻译策略有限,同时也并非适用于所有的导游词翻译问题,需要不断地实践来丰富。
[Abstract]:With the deepening of globalization, more and more foreign tourists come to visit China, and China's tourism is also affected by it. So it is very necessary to translate Chinese tourist guides into English. A standard, humorous guide can accurately introduce the culture and history of tourist attractions, so that foreign tourists can accurately understand Chinese culture. Accordingly, a nonstandard or even erroneous tourist guide may cause obstacles to cultural exchange and cannot play a role in mutual communication. Therefore, we should pay enough attention to the translation of guide words. Based on the theory of cross-cultural communication and taking the guide words in translation as an example, the paper discusses the preparation, the process of translation and the post-translation work in translation practice. This paper probes into the application of cross-cultural communication in the translation of tourist guides, and summarizes the strategies and techniques of translation of guide words. The first chapter discusses the background of the translation of guide words, and introduces the origin of the translation task and the significance of the study. Chapter two introduces the linguistic and textual features of the guide, the process of translation and the post-translation revision. The third chapter explores the relationship between cross-cultural communication and guide-guide translation according to the theory of cross-cultural communication and the characteristics of tourist guide translation. The fourth chapter lists the problems in the process of translation from the lexical and syntactic levels, and adopts the corresponding translation strategies, such as literal translation, transliteration, free translation, analogy, addition, deletion and so on. Chapter five reviews the overall thinking of the thesis and draws a conclusion that under the guidance of cross-cultural communication theory the translation of guide words should take full account of their linguistic and textual characteristics and on the basis of which the corresponding translation strategies should be applied. However, any theory and strategy has its limitations, we should learn specific problems and analysis. The translation process shows that practice needs theoretical support. In the process of translating Chinese tourist guides into English, the specific linguistic and stylistic characteristics should be fully taken into account, and the corresponding translation strategies should be summed up from the perspective of cross-cultural communication. However, the translation strategies summarized in this paper are limited and not applicable to all the translation problems of guide words, which need to be enriched through continuous practice.
