[Abstract]:Language is not only a tool for people to communicate, but also a reflection of social ideology. Public media public opinion permeates all aspects of social life and deeply affects people's daily life. News, as a special style, is an important means for media to convey information and influence the public. However, we find that the objectivity and impartiality of the news are affected by many other factors besides the factual reporting of the incident itself. News not only conveys information, but also reflects the reporter's attitude, social background and social value system. Political news, in particular, often reflects the country's political position and value orientation to a certain extent. All these are the embodiment of ideology in news discourse. Critical discourse analysis (CDA) is a common approach to discourse research in news reports. Critical discourse analysis focuses on the interrelationship among language, ideology and rights, emphasizing the social structure and social background that appear in discourse practice, events and texts. Critical discourse analysis (CDA) is devoted to revealing the latent ideology in discourse, which helps to cultivate readers' consciousness and stimulate their critical reading consciousness. This paper mainly studies the relationship between language, rights and meaning forms, and the differences between language and ideology in political news reports. The article mainly selects the relevant news reports about the dispute between China and Philippines in the China Daily, taking the three-dimensional model of Falcrow and Halliday's systemic functional grammar as the main theoretical basis. This paper analyzes the text at three levels: at the level of text description, using the materiality, lexical classification, modality and thematic selection as the analysis tool; in the explanatory part, the author analyzes the news source from the angle of intertextuality; and at the stage of explanation, it analyzes the source of news from the angle of intertextuality. To expose the ideology hidden in news from the historical background of social politics and economy. First of all, social, cultural, historical and political backgrounds have great influence on the formation of ideology. It is necessary to take these factors into account when conducting critical discourse analysis. Second, the mass media use language and discourse to express their political position and ideological orientation, which usually represent the ideology of the government. Language is the carrier of consciousness, and ideology sometimes influences the choice of discourse. Third, news, especially political news, is not as objective as they claim to be. Ideologies formed in different social, cultural, historical and political backgrounds represent their different political positions and ideological orientations by influencing the manner in which reporters express themselves. In the dispute over Huangyan Island between China and the Philippines, China's core interest is to maintain its sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Philippines has repeatedly harassed and illegally detained Chinese fishermen on Chinese territory, and has clamored internationally about the issue of the attribution of Huangyan Island. It violated China's sovereignty and territorial integrity; the China Daily, a window to the Chinese media, also showed Beijing's tough stance on Huangyan Island. Through theoretical research, this paper proves once again the feasibility and importance of Fellclaw's three-dimensional model and Halliday's systemic functional grammar in analyzing the hidden ideology in news discourse, as well as the non-objectivity of news discourse. Can help people in the future life more effective access to real and valuable information in the news.
