汉英双语者请求行为的中介文化风格研究

【摘要】:请求作为普遍存在于人类社会不同语言中的交际行为,是中介语语用学研究的重要对象。对于汉英双语者在习得二语过程中二语和一语间的相互影响的语用学研究,尚为匮乏。本研究将对不同水平的英语学习者产生的汉语和英语“请求言语行为”开展调查,,从中发现在学习英语的中国普通高等院校大学生中是否存在“中介文化风格假说”。 本文借鉴了“跨文化言语行为实现项目”(CCSARP)中使用的关于请求言语行为的分析框架,并结合所搜集到的实际语料对其做了一定的补充。本研究基于该框架,对英语专业学生和非英语专业学生展开调查,对其“请求言语行为”的起始行为语、请求策略、外部修饰语和内部修饰语四个方面进行了定量和定性的分析。 本研究结果从一定程度上证实了“中介文化风格假说”在湖南工业大学的汉英双语者请求言语行为中是存在的,但对比范燕妮、李柏令(2011)对上海交通大学学生的研究,在湖南工业大学“中介文化风格”的形成趋势甚至更为明显,说明了“中介文化风格”形成程度与被试二语掌握程度并不成正相关。
[Abstract]:As a universal communicative act in different languages of human society, request is an important object of interlanguage pragmatics. Pragmatic studies on the interaction between second language and first language in the acquisition of second language by Chinese and English bilinguals are still lacking. This study will investigate Chinese and English "request speech acts" produced by English learners at different levels, and find out whether there is an "intermediary cultural style hypothesis" among Chinese college students who learn English. This paper draws lessons from the analysis framework of the request speech act used in (CCSARP), and makes a certain supplement to it with the actual language data collected. Based on this framework, the present study investigates the initial behavior and request strategies of English majors and non-English majors. External modifiers and internal modifiers are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of this study confirm to a certain extent the existence of the "Intermediate Cultural style hypothesis" in the Chinese and English bilingual request speech acts of Hunan University of Technology. However, a comparison between Fanny and Li Bering (2011) on the students of Shanghai Jiaotong University is made. The formation trend of "intermediary cultural style" in Hunan University of Technology is even more obvious, which shows that the degree of formation of "intermediate cultural style" is not positively related to the level of the subjects' second language proficiency.
