汉英名词动用的认知对比研究

【摘要】:本论文从认知语言学角度出发对汉英名词动用现象进行对比研究。不管是在汉语还是英语中,名词动用都是一种普遍的语言现象,是语言上的创新。 全文共六个章节。第一章绪论部分介绍名词动用的基本概念,确定本文的写作目的,并阐述选题缘由。第二章为文献综述,从语法、语用、认知、对比等四个视角对国内外名词动用的研究进行梳理,总结前人研究的特点和不足之处。第三章对名词动用产生的原因进行探讨,主要从语言因素、语用因素和认知因素等三个方面分析。从认知语言学的角度看来,语言能力和人类的认知能力、大脑思维活动密切相关,语言的使用本质上是一种思维活动,是大脑认知机制作用的结果。名词动用是人们为适应交际产生的一种语言创新现象,其本质也是一种认知现象。因此,认知因素是名词动用产生的最为本质的原因。第四章以认知因素中的转喻和隐喻理论为基础,探讨汉英名词动用现象背后的理论依据。转喻是名词动用的基本认知机制,在认知语言学视角下,转喻是基于人类自身体验的一种概念认知机制。转喻思维在话语生成与理解过程中发挥着重要的作用。名词动用是事件图式转喻,理想化认知模型在转喻的生成和理解过程中起着重要作用。根据理想化认知模型将名词动用分为六大类,并举例进行分析。名词转用为动词的过程中,转喻和隐喻是相互作用的关系。转喻和隐喻是一个连续体,两者之间并没有明确的界限,分析了转喻和隐喻在名词动用中的互动表现。第五章对汉英名词动用进行对比分析。首先对分类标准进行对比,主要以ClarkClark与Dirven两人的分类标准为主;然后分析汉语和英语名词动用现象的异同,重点分析两者的差异之处,主要有四个方面。第六章为结论部分,总结本文的研究成果及意义,,提出今后名词动用研究的前景。 本文的主要特点是运用认知语言学中的转喻理论和隐喻理论,动态地考察汉英名词动用现象,并对汉英名词动用进行对比分析,以期达到提升对名词动用现象和人类认知规律的认识,推动本领域以及相关领域的发展。
[Abstract]:This paper makes a contrastive study on the use of Chinese and English nouns from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. In both Chinese and English, noun usage is a universal linguistic phenomenon and a linguistic innovation. The full text consists of six chapters. The first chapter introduces the basic concept of the use of nouns, determines the purpose of this article, and explains the reasons for choosing the topic. The second chapter is a literature review, from the grammatical, pragmatic, cognitive, contrastive and other four perspectives of the use of nouns at home and abroad to sort out, summarize the characteristics and shortcomings of previous studies. The third chapter discusses the causes of noun usage, mainly from three aspects: language factor, pragmatic factor and cognitive factor. From the perspective of cognitive linguistics, language ability is closely related to human cognitive ability and brain thinking activity. The use of language is essentially a kind of thinking activity, which is the result of the cognitive mechanism of the brain. Noun usage is a kind of language innovation phenomenon in order to adapt to communication, and its essence is also a cognitive phenomenon. Therefore, cognitive factor is the most essential reason for the use of nouns. Chapter four, based on metonymy and metaphor theory in cognitive factors, discusses the theoretical basis behind the use of Chinese and English nouns. Metonymy is the basic cognitive mechanism of the use of nouns. From the perspective of cognitive linguistics metonymy is a conceptual cognitive mechanism based on human experience. Metonymy plays an important role in the process of discourse generation and understanding. The use of nouns is event schema metonymy. Idealized cognitive model plays an important role in the formation and understanding of metonymy. According to the idealized cognitive model, nouns are divided into six categories and analyzed with examples. Metonymy and metaphor are interactive relations in the process of nouns being transferred to verbs. Metonymy and metaphor are a continuum. There is no clear boundary between metonymy and metaphor. The interaction between metonymy and metaphor in the use of nouns is analyzed. Chapter five makes a contrastive analysis of the use of Chinese and English nouns. First, the classification standards are compared, mainly based on the classification criteria of ClarkClark and Dirven, and then the similarities and differences between Chinese and English nouns are analyzed, with emphasis on the differences between them, mainly in four aspects. The sixth chapter is the conclusion part, summarizes the research achievement and significance of this paper, and puts forward the prospect of the research on the use of nomenclature in the future. The main features of this paper are the use of metonymy theory and metaphor theory in cognitive linguistics to dynamically investigate the phenomenon of noun use in Chinese and English, and to make a contrastive analysis of the use of nouns in Chinese and English. In order to promote the understanding of the phenomenon of noun use and human cognition, and to promote the development of this field and related fields.
