中美商务谈判冲突解决风格的跨文化解析

近二十年以来,跨文化交际和冲突解决这两个学术领域的研究日趋繁荣。冲突普遍存在于人们日常生活和社会交往的各个层面之中,无论是人与人之间、家庭之间、邻里之间还是企业之间、党派之间甚至国家之间都存在着形形色色的矛盾和冲突。可以说,这个世界上是不存在“零冲突”的国家或地区的。引发冲突的原因可谓是千差万别,其解决方法也是变化万千。汀-图梅(1995)经研究指出人们在解决冲突的过程中往往会受到自身文化因素的影响,即使面对同一冲突,不同文化背景中的人由于有着完全不同的价值观、思维模式和行为方式,其解决冲突的方式可能也会有天壤之别。随着全球化的经济时代的到来,中国正以前所未有的胸襟,全方位、多层次、多领域、坚定的实施对外开放的战略。中美作为世界上两个重要的国家,商务往来日益频繁,贸易数额与日俱增,中美贸易已成为世界贸易的重要组成部分之一。有贸易往来,就必有商务谈判,而在此过程中又难免会出现矛盾。中美两国文化价值体系的分歧更是加深了双方在紧缺资源、谈判目标及程序等问题上的冲突。由于谈判双方讲不同的语言、有着不同的文化价值观,情景往往会变得十分复杂,谈判双方间的矛盾和冲突也会更加的频繁与激烈。当冲突发生以...
