从关联理论视角看相声中“包袱”的幽默效果

  幽默是人类特有的重要特征,西方国家对幽默的研究由来已久。相声是中国传统的艺术形式之一,是中华民族的文化瑰宝。它以讽刺笑料褒贬社会现象,以诙谐幽默为艺术特点,“包袱”是其制笑的主要载体,在给广大观众带来愉悦之余也给人们留有思考。但由于语言障碍和缺乏文化背景,国外对中国的相声鲜有了解。关联理论是由Sperber和Wilson在1986年出版的题为《关联性:交际与认知》的专著中提出,自问世以来就受到许多学者的关注并被广泛运用到各个领域的研究中,其中也包括对幽默的研究,但却鲜有对中国特有的幽默艺术——相声的研究,至于对相声制笑的载体——“包袱”的研究则更是少之又少。鉴于此,本文在关联理论的框架下通过例证法对选取的近二十年来优秀的相声文本中“包袱”的设计手法及构建过程进行梳理,并且检视相声幽默的构建原理和理解机制。通过研究发现,最大关联和最佳关联之间的反差会产生幽默效果,以此解释了“支”、“刨”这两种设计手法能制笑的原因。语境效果与处理努力成反比,意味着话语的语境效果越小,听众所花费的处理努力需越大,这也解释了“抖包袱”之所以制笑的原因,听众花费的处理努力越多,作为回报,获得的幽默体验也越强。作...
