老年刻板印象激活对中国EFL学习者英汉高低速运动事件理解的影响:来自眼动实验的证据

具身认知假设认为,语言理解根植于人与外部环境互动产生的感知觉运动经验,读者在理解句子时,会通过构建心理模拟来表征感知觉运动内容。语言理解的体验性和模拟性已被越来越多的研究证明。但是,此类研究大多认为,心理模拟根植于读者的直接感知觉运动经验,以第一人称视角进行。尚无研究探讨句子理解中的心理模拟是否受世界知识等间接经验的影响,转以第三人称视角进行。为此,本研究通过眼动实验,以老年刻板图片为启动条件,借此对语言理解中的心理模拟做进一步的探究。具体研究问题如下:(1)老年刻板印象激活是否影响中国EFL学习者汉语高低速运动事件理解?(2)老年刻板印象激活是否影响中国EFL学习者英语高低速运动事件理解?(3)老年刻板印象激活对中国EFL学习者英汉高低速运动事件的影响是否相同?本实验分为中英文两个实验,均采用3(启动条件:老年人面部图片、青年人面部图片、物体照片)×2(运动事件类型:高速度运动事件、低速度运动事件)两因素被试内设计。实验选取四川外国语大学33名在读本硕生为汉语被试;31名英语专业在读本硕生为英语被试。实验首先随机呈现青年照片、老年照片或物体照片,随后,要求被试阅读高低速运动事件,理解...
