汉英访谈节目中恭维语及其应答策略对比研究

作为一种社会交往中使用频率较高的礼貌言语行为,恭维语是社会交际的“润滑剂”,使得交际能够在和谐融洽的氛围中顺利进行。同时恭维语也是具备多项职能的社会言语行为,它不仅可以缩短交际者的社会距离,而且还可以联络感情,维系社会正常的人际关系。人们的日常生活中会经常用到恭维语,与人交谈用到恭维语可使人与人之间的关系得到改善,本文针对汉英电视访谈节目里用到的恭维语及如何应答进行分析比较,把提高跨越文化能力作为目标,努力摸索出在不同的文化背景下怎样更好的接受恭维语的有效方法。作者以娱乐性访谈节目为主,同时挑选出包括有政治、经济内容的汉英访谈节目,语料主要来自涉及真实访谈节目内容的书籍或视频,并最终确定了有恭维言语行为的数据共404项作为研究对象,其中汉语访谈节目中的恭维语214项,英语访谈节目中的恭维语190项。作者从跨文化交际的角度对英汉恭维语应答策略进行了比较,以期能发现它们之间的相同点和不同点,目的是描述访谈节目中的被采访者使用不同应答策略时在该领域所表现出的文化共性和差异,其意义在于对外语学习者有所启发和帮助,减少语用失误。研究结果发现,汉英访谈节目中的恭维言语行为呈现出程式化的模式,而高频...
