隐喻视角下汉、英方位词“左/右”的对比研究

隐喻不仅仅是一种语言现象,更是一种认知现象,是新的语言意义产生的重要根源。借助隐喻能更好地实现抽象概念的表达。从认知语言学的视角对隐喻进行研究成为近年来西方隐喻研究的主流,西方隐喻认知观认为隐喻的过程实际上就是由源域到目标域的投射,强调人的认知和人的感知在隐喻过程中发挥的作用。总体来说,国内外对“左/右”的研究主要集中在对其进行中、西文化含义对比和词性的界定上;国内有关left/right方位词研究很少,大量论著集中于研究其他方位词。少量关于left/right的研究也都集中于汉英文化对比方面。一些汉英空间方位词对比研究多少涉及了认知语言学相关理论,但研究也只涉及到语料的陈列,没有解释和认知分析。国外认知语言学理论比较发达,但是多数学者用认知语言学理论分析其他方位词的用法,left/right的研究较少。因此,从词汇隐喻和语法隐喻的角度对方位左/右和left/right进行对比研究有很大的必要性。本文以北京大学中国语言学研究中心（CCL）现代汉语语料库,美国COCA语料库为为语料来源,以概念隐喻和语法隐喻为本研究的理论框架,例证分析100条包含汉英方位词“左/右”和left/right...
