意识形态与赞助人因素制约下《亲历历史》译文之改写

　　翻译能促进不同民族人民之间的交流,对一个国家的政治、文化、社会发展意义重大。但长期以来,人们对翻译的研究局限在语言层面。传统的翻译理论以原文本为中心,认为原文本才具有权威性,而翻译则被认为是衍生的,是复制品,应从属于原文。20世纪80年代出现的“文化转向”为翻译研究带来了一种可喜的变化。“文化转向”不再以对等、忠实为要,提出应关注历史、文化、意识形态和诗学等因素。在诸多介绍“文化转向”的理论中,勒费维尔的改写理论贡献突出。改写理论着重研究原文本和目标语文本之间的差异以及文化和意识形态因素。这就把翻译研究者的视野从语言层面扩展到更大的文化层面。受改写理论启发,本文拟从意识形态和赞助人角度探讨《亲历历史》中译本中的改写痕迹。文章首先提出全文的理论框架,包括理论的兴起、发展及意义,其中重点探讨理论中的赞助人和意识形态两因素。文章接着从赞助人和意识形态角度分析《亲历历史》的有关方面,如选材,审核及翻译策略等。翻译策略方面着重讨论了省略和切换两种方法。通过以上研究,我们发现《亲历历史》中译本的改写痕迹并非偶然。在改写中起主要作用的译者受到特定的社会意识形态和文化影响。在翻译过程中,译者可以选择接...
