从跨文化交际角度看新闻翻译的归化和异化

　　世界在越变越小,生活在不同文化当中的人们也离得越来越近,翻译也就成了跨文化交际活动的重要桥梁。通过翻译,我们能够了解其他国家及其文化,也能让其他国家了解我们的文化。 语言和文化之间存在着密不可分的关系。一种语言对应一种文化,没有语言,文化就不能起作用,也不能代代相传。语言也离不开文化,只有在相应的文化中语言才有意义。因此,研究文化离不开语言,研究语言也离不开文化。任何跨文化的研究,如翻译,比较文化,外语教学等,都应兼顾文化差异,而不只是从本国文化的接受心理去考察语言差异。要想准确有效地把握语言与文化之间的内在联系,必须从文化差异去研究语言差异。 在20世纪70年代,随着翻译研究的文化转向,翻译作为跨文化交际行为的性质开始引起越来越多翻译研究者的注意,由此,归化与异化之争也开始浮出水面。归化是指尽量将译语文化纳入译文读者的知识范围,将作者引向读者;异化是指在翻译中保留原文语言文化的特异之处,将读者引向作者。由于源语文化和译语文化之间存在着巨大差异,因此译者在翻译的过程中势必会面临两难选择,一篇译作也定会体现出译者对于归化或异化的倾向。回顾中西方学者在翻译领域的相关论述可以发现:选择归化还...
