从序列模式看语境在口译中的作用

　　口译是一种跨文化的交际活动,但口译并非只是简单的语言符号之间的转换。在诸多影响口译质量的因素中,语境在口译过程中扮演着十分重要的角色。语言是人们的交际工具,并且人们的一切语言交际活动总是在一定的交际环境中进行的。语境既包括语言因素,如书面语言的上下文、口语中的前言后语等,也包括非语言因素,如交际的时间、地点、场合、时代、交际对象以及社会、文化背景、自然环境等。而口译中语境的作用也一直是中外学者研究的焦点。 通过对吉尔序列模式的研究,作者发现这一模式提供了一个新的角度来探索口译过程以及影响口译质量的诸多因素。其中提到的几个重要概念引发了作者对口译过程的新的认识。吉尔在序列模式中指出意义猜想主要是由译者的知识基础决定的,但是知识基础的不同,也可能造成意义猜想的不同,根据这一观点,作者产生了结合吉尔的序列模式,对语境的功能进行探索的想法,并对语境在口译中的作用进行分析。 语境是进行意义猜想的一个重要工具。本文结合吉尔序列模式,以海峡两岸口译大赛上各选手的表现为例,对语境在口译过程中的作用进行分析。 在吉尔序列模式的指导下,结合对口译案例的分析,作者发现语境在口译中能帮助译者有效地的进行意义猜...
