辽宁师范大学来华留学生跨文化适应性问题研究

近几十年,世界范围内的全球化,国际化,多元化的概念已逐渐被世人广泛接受,随之而来的效应之一,便是许多国家的留学生人数猛增。中国,尤其是在成功主办奥运会后,国际地位日益提高,汉语的影响力与重要性与日俱增。因此,越来越多的留学生涌入中国,学习中国的语言文化,感受中国的地大物博,体验中国的风土人情。有权威数据表明来华留学生近5年来的年均增速超过18%,2008年人数已较2004年翻番,甚至超过了出国留学生人数。 随着来华留学生教育日成规模,针对这一群体文化研究的重要性也得到了中国学术界的广泛认可。本文借鉴了社会学、心理学和传播学的研究成果,从跨文化交流学的角度入手,利用定量为主,定性为辅的研究方法,针对来华留学生的文化适应性问题,对辽宁师范大学的56名留学生进行了问卷调查,并对从中选取的5名留学生进行了访谈。 在文化休克、跨文化适应模式以及跨文化适应策略等理论的指导下,作者用Excel软件对所得数据进行了统计分析。研究发现,大部分留学生的来华目的在于提高个人的汉语水平,以期望学成后有助于其职业发展;一部分留学生希望在留学期间有机会通过旅游了解中国。大部分留学生在人际交往和语言学习方面存在较大...
