隐喻认知机制及动因的符号学视角研究

隐喻(metaphor)是用其他事物来描述某种事物的手段,是将某一领域的经验用来说明或理解另一领域经验的活动,是人类的基本认知工具。隐喻研究的历史可谓源远流长。在西方,最早对隐喻进行系统研究的是Aristotle,他对隐喻性质及功能的诠释确立了其后两千多年西方修辞学界隐喻研究的基本路线。20世纪以来,隐喻研究逐渐突破了单一的修辞格的分类与描写,走上了多学科、多角度研究的发展道路。学术界围绕着隐喻的研究已经逐步深化,关于隐喻生成机制和动因的研究正形成一股热流,许多学者开始对符号学视角下的隐喻做出了初步研究与探索。 从符号学角度看,隐喻是一种赋予事物以意义的符号行为。隐喻的符号学阐释在于揭示隐喻性语言的符号意指过程,即对符号意义进行揭示的过程。本研究目的在于,从符号学视角对隐喻产生的认知机制做系统探讨,归纳出隐喻产生和发展的动因,以期对隐喻做出更为深入的解释。 本研究采用演绎与归纳相结合的方法。首先,基于符号学视角,从语言符号的双面双轴、象似形和层次性三方面展开讨论,对隐喻的认知机制加以考察,建构解读隐喻的新认知模式。其次,探讨隐喻生成和发展的语言符号、社会文化和思维认知三方...
