语境顺应视角下话语礼貌的生成与理解

【摘要】：作为言语行为的重要组成部分和交际策略,礼貌是一种普遍的社会现象,它广泛地存在于人类社会生活之中。对礼貌的正确理解和合理阐释能有助于促进和谐人际关系的建立与维持。礼貌一直以来都是备受关注的课题,许多学者也从语用学、社会语言学、跨文化交际语言学等学科角度进行研究。语用学对礼貌现象的研究始于Lakoff。她在“清晰”和“礼貌”的规则下提出了三大准则。Brown和Levinson主张“面子保全”理论,也就是说礼貌意味着交际双方对面子的维护。英国学者Geoffrey Leech则提出了“礼貌原则”一说,并认为这一原则是由六个准则来实现的。尽管近期的学者徐盛桓和王建华等人在对以往礼貌理论进行修正建议的同时提出了自己的礼貌学说,但大都局限于对礼貌策略的研究,缺乏对交际中礼貌生成、变化与理解系统全面地探讨。本论文以Verschueren顺应论中的语境关系顺应部分为指导框架,采用文献研究、资料收集等方法,从语境顺应中情景、社交、文化以及认知因素探讨礼貌的生成,并借助生活实例对礼貌的变化与理解作详细阐释,以期说明礼貌话语的理解并不是取决于单方面礼貌策略的使用,而是语境中交际双方的动态顺应过程。本文从另一个视角对礼貌话语进行研究,旨在更为深入地探索日常交际中礼貌的相对性、顺应性实质,从而有效提高交流者对礼貌的感知能力与使用能力,使他们更好地运用礼貌言语协调人际关系,避免语用失误。
