西夏《天盛律令》之中药名“蔓荆子”考释

【摘要】：《天盛律令》卷十七"物离库门"中的一味中药"■■■"此前一直未曾得到满意解读或翻译。"■■"之"■"为西夏语综合韵第17韵所属字,在《掌中珠》同时用作假摄字"蛙"和山摄字"椚"两个汉字的西夏文注音。汉文山摄字通常与西夏语综合的第26韵对音,表明汉文山摄字可同时与西夏语第17、26韵对音。西夏语第26韵所属字中有与"■"wal.17同声母之字"■"wia2.23,其与汉文"万"、"晚"、"曼"等字对音,是以可以考虑用"■"之对音汉字"万"、"晚"等字来转译"■",遂得"■"与中药名"蔓荆子"音合。故"■"即汉文"蔓荆子"之音译。

In the words belonging to the 26th rhyme of the Xixia language, there is Wia 2.23, which is opposite to the Chinese characters such as "Wan", "late", "Man" and so on. It is possible to use the Chinese characters "Wan" and "late" to translate "", and thus to "match" with the Chinese medicine name "Jingzi". Therefore, "is the transliteration of the Chinese language" "Mian Jingzi".
