清末杰出数学家、翻译家李善兰

【摘要】：李善兰是我国清末最重要的数学家和科学翻译家之一,他一生出版译著8部,共104卷本,且有1部译著未刊行。他和西方传教士合理选用底本,将西方经典科学著作翻译过来,为中国清末科学发展做出了开创性的贡献。他的科学译著为后来的学者所推崇,对清末民国时期的科学研究和教育影响较大,并且一直影响到当代的科学和教育。通过文献分析得出,不管是从科学研究,还是从传播西方科学上来说,李善兰都是一位学术大师。
[Abstract]:Li Shanlan was one of the most important mathematicians and scientific translators in the late Qing Dynasty. He published eight books in his life, 104 volumes in all, and one of them was not published. He and the Western missionaries rationally selected the original and translated the classical scientific works of the West. He made a pioneering contribution to the scientific development of China in the late Qing Dynasty. His scientific translation was highly praised by later scholars and had a great influence on scientific research and education during the late Qing and the Republic of China. Through literature analysis, it is concluded that Li Shanlan is an academic master both in scientific research and in the dissemination of western science.
