[Abstract]:The 8th International Symposium on grammaticalization of Chinese was held at Renmin University of China from October 30th 2015 to November 1st. The conference was sponsored by the Institute of languages of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the School of Arts of Renmin University of China. More than 70 scholars from the United States, Japan, Singapore, the mainland of China and Hong Kong attended the meeting. The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Associate Professor Zhu Guanming, Vice Dean of the School of Arts of Renmin University of China.
