运动事件的编码：英汉话语层面的对比研究

【摘要】：汉语的类型学地位在今天依然是一个饱受争议的话题。对于汉语是卫星框架语言,还是同等框架语言,亦或是动词框架语言,前人的研究结果还未给出清楚的结论。本实验目标是定位汉语的类型学地位,并且在语篇层面上比较汉语与英语的异同。本实验招收了32名母语为英语的成年人和32名母语为汉语的成年人作为被试。被试的实验任务是描述一幅叫《猫的故事》的图片。实验图片由简笔画构成,并且不包含任何文字提醒。本实验考察了英汉语被试话语产出里的动词语义、两种语言关于运动事件故事背景的描述情况、参照物回指的清晰程度以及语篇组织策略四个方面。数据的分析结果显示,汉语呈现出了卫星框架语言与动词框架语言的特点,同时又带有自身的特点,表明汉语属于第三种框架语言:等值框架语言。非参数统计检验的结果表明英汉实验组在上述四个方面不存在统计学上的显著性差异。由此可看出,在语篇层面上英汉语说话人显现出了一定程度的认知共性。
[Abstract]:The typology status of Chinese is still a controversial topic today. As to whether Chinese is satellite frame language, equivalent frame language, or verb frame language, the results of previous studies have not yet given a clear conclusion. The objective of this study is to locate the typological status of Chinese and to compare the similarities and differences between Chinese and English at the textual level. 32 adults whose mother tongue was English and 32 adults whose mother tongue was Chinese were enrolled as subjects. The subject's task was to describe a picture called the Cat's Story. The experimental picture consists of simple strokes and does not contain any text reminders. This experiment examines the verb semantics in the discourse production of English and Chinese, the description of the story background of sports events in two languages, the clarity of the reference anaphora and the organization strategy of the text. The results of data analysis show that Chinese has the characteristics of satellite frame language and verb frame language, which indicates that Chinese belongs to the third frame language: equivalent frame language. The results of non-parametric statistical test showed that there was no significant difference between English and Chinese experimental groups in the above four aspects. From this, it can be seen that English and Chinese speakers show a certain degree of cognitive commonality at the textual level.
