格鲁吉亚汉语教师志愿者跨文化适应性调查
[Abstract]:With the development of Chinese economy and the increasingly extensive international communication, the demand for Chinese learning has increased rapidly in the world, and there is a serious shortage of native Chinese teachers in various countries. In order to meet the needs of Chinese learning all over the world, accelerate the development of Chinese to the world, and increase the influence of Chinese and Chinese culture, Confucius Institute, a non-profit educational institution, was set up in China in 2004. Since the establishment of the Confucius Institute of the Free University of Tbilisi, Georgia, the teaching of Chinese in Georgia has developed rapidly. Every year, the headquarters of the Confucius Institute sends about 20 Chinese teacher volunteers to Georgia to promote Chinese and spread culture. As a volunteer of Chinese teachers in Georgia, the author has experienced the influence of the cultural differences between China and Georgia on the volunteers in the aspects of work and life. Through investigation, interview and other methods, the author investigated 27 volunteers of Chinese teachers in 2016 on cross-cultural adaptation. The results show that the overall adaptability is good and the fitness (life, work, communication) is above average, but there are also some problems. In the aspect of life, Chinese teacher volunteers generally have the problem of eating malaise, and the adaptation of entertainment and consumption is also more prominent. In terms of work, volunteers are most uncomfortable with Georgia's teaching requirements, Georgian teaching resources and Georgian students' performance. Interpersonal relations, interaction with Georgians and understanding of the local people's ideological and cultural issues are the outstanding problems of volunteers. In view of the cross-cultural adaptation problems of the volunteers, the author further understands the situation through the interview, analyzes the causes, and finally, Based on the volunteers' opinions and suggestions, the author puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the cross-cultural adaptation of Chinese teacher volunteers.
