应用翻译标准和原则的多元化研究

【摘要】：商业、外交、科技方面的翻译蓬勃发展,其声势已经超过文学翻译。应用翻译的重要性不言而喻。应用翻译有其自身的特点、功能、翻译要求、翻译标准和原则。本文分析了应用翻译的文本类型、特点、功能及翻译要求,在此基础上主要采用定量和定性研究方法,重点探讨了应用翻译标准和原则的多元化。本文认为,奈达的“翻译功能对等论”、严复的“信”“达”“雅”标准、林克难的“看译写”原则、胡庚申的翻译适应选择论、丁衡祁ABC(模仿-借用-创新)翻译原则以及方梦之的达旨、循规、共喻等标准在宏观层面对应用翻译具有一定指导意义,可以视为应用翻译的宏观翻译标准和原则;而商务合同、商业广告、商业信函等各类实用文本则需要有各自具体可操作性和针对性的翻译标准和原则,可视为微观层面的翻译标准和原则。应用翻译文本类型的多样性,以及其自身的特点和社会功能,客观上要求应用翻译的标准和原则具有多元性和互补性,期望本研究和探讨能对应用翻译实践和翻译质量的提高等具有一定的借鉴意义。
[Abstract]:Translation in business, diplomacy, science and technology is booming, and its momentum has surpassed that of literary translation. The importance of applied translation is self-evident. Applied translation has its own characteristics, functions, translation requirements, translation standards and principles. This paper analyzes the text types, characteristics, functions and translation requirements of applied translation. On this basis, it mainly adopts quantitative and qualitative research methods, and focuses on the diversification of applied translation standards and principles. This paper holds that Nida's theory of translation functional equivalence, Yan Fu's "letter" and "ya" standard, Lin Kehan's principle of "reading and writing", Hu Gengshen's theory of adaptation to translation, Ding Hengqi's ABC (imitation-borrowing-innovation) translation principle and Fang Mengzhi's criteria of reaching, following rules and metonymy have certain guiding significance for applied translation at the macro level, and can be regarded as the macro translation standards and principles of applied translation. However, all kinds of practical texts, such as business contracts, commercial advertisements, commercial letters and so on, need to have their own specific operational and targeted translation standards and principles, which can be regarded as translation standards and principles at the micro level. The diversity of the types of applied translated texts, as well as their own characteristics and social functions, objectively require that the criteria and principles of applied translation are pluralistic and complementary. It is expected that this study and discussion can be used for reference in practical translation practice and the improvement of translation quality.
