英汉情感表达的概念隐喻对比分析

隐喻,作为一种无处不在的语言现象,普遍存在于我们的日常语言之中。隐喻研究源远流长,至今已有两千多年的历史,各种丰富的理论也基于此研究而产生。以亚里士多德为代表的传统隐喻理论研究认为隐喻是词语层次上的一种修辞方式,是对正常语言规则的一种偏离。而后来以布莱克为代表的互动论认为隐喻是两个成分之间的互动,即两个分属于不同义域的词语在语义上互相作用,最终产生新的意义。互动论为从认知角度研究隐喻作了一定的理论铺垫,从此隐喻研究进入了一个新的阶段。但语言学家所公认的从认知角度研究隐喻的标志性著作是Lakoff和Johnson在1980年所著的《我们赖以生存的隐喻》一书。在书中,Lakoff和Johnson提出了“概念隐喻”,并指出了隐喻的实质。在阐述隐喻的运作机制时,认知语言学家引入了“始源域”和“目标域”来解释它们之间的映射。始源域通常为人们日常所熟知的、有形的、具体的且结构相对清晰的事物或概念,而目标域通常是人们所陌生的、无形的、抽象的且缺乏内部结构的概念。实际上,概念隐喻的认知力就是将始源域的部分特征映射到目标域,从而对目标域进行重新认识和描述。然而,隐喻的映射并非随意产生的,它是植根于人类的...
