　　在当今的众多研究理论中,关联理论与翻译有着密切的相关性和很好的契合性。它虽然不是翻译理论,也非为翻译理论所设计,但却可以有效的解释翻译现象并指导翻译实践。关联理论提供的认知关联机制,在宏观上作用于超语篇层,涉及语篇外的种种因素;在微观上它深入到词的理据层。鉴于翻译的动态性和关联理论的认知推理机制,关联理论无疑是翻译学诸供体多学科中的优选项,而且可以帮助我们奠定翻译本体论和方法论的基础。翻译,曾被誉为是宇宙进化史上最复杂的事。翻译现象的复杂性让我们难以看清“翻译”的真相,难免让人怀疑它的存在,而研究成果的丰富性却又说明了人们对它的探索没有停止。对翻译学的研究的总趋势,其范围是越来越宽泛,论题越来越散——从“多学科”的界面研究已扩展到“无学科”的境界。在此情形下,翻译学归结论对其进行反向假设,进行反向论证,试图找出“翻译学”之所以为“学”的根据。所谓归结,就是将错综复杂的现象归结为核心的、本质的东西,并以此找到翻译的基本规律和把握其内在属性。因此本文拟从关联理论的角度分析翻译学归结论,以论证两者的兼容性,并成为翻译学归结论贯穿始终的应用原则。
