从语境顺应和语用距离角度分析《一个女人的史诗》的称谓语

　　称谓是一个庞大的语言文化系统,也是语言交际过程的重要组成部分,因而语言学家从不同角度对称谓语进行了研究。在许多情况下称谓语是传递给受话者的第一个信息,为了保证交际的顺利进行,说话者要根据受话者的年龄、职业、地位、身份以及同受话者的亲疏关系和谈话场合等一系列因素选择适当的称谓。称谓语不仅反映了交际双方的角色身份、社会地位和亲疏程度的差异,是衡量人际关系的一把尺子;而且表达了说话者对受话者的态度和思想感情,受话者通过说话者所选择的称谓形式就可以进行某种推测,从而了解对方的真实意图,在心理上更好地做好参与交际的准备。以前所有对称谓的研究多侧重于英汉称谓语语用含义的对比分析及英汉称谓语翻译策略的讨论,较少涉及汉语文学作品中称谓的研究。 本文以Verschueren的顺应论和王建华的语用距离理论为理论框架,以小说《一个女人的史诗》中的称谓语为研究对象,从社会世界,心理世界和物理世界等方面分析小说中称谓语的使用,并结合语用距离的流动性和可协商性对称谓语的选择做出诠释。研究发现:1)社会世界方面:称谓语的选择顺应不同的社会环境。该小说中的人物在正式场合和非正式场合使用不同的称谓语。该小说中的...
