从背景设置看完句条件

　　从上个世纪八十年代末起,很多语言学家开始了对完句成分的研究,如王艾录(1990)、贺阳(1994)、黄南松(1994)、孔令达(1995)、竟成(1996)、Tang & Lee(2000)、胡建华&石定栩(2005)等等。这些语言学家从各个不同的角度对完句条件进行了比较深入的探讨,如体态,时制定位,指称意义,语调等等。然而,前人的研究多注重对完句范畴的描写及分类,而对其为什么能够完句以及对这些完句成分的共同特征的解释还有待深入。至今未能从语言的本质方面对完句条件形成一个统一的解释。另外,很少有人关注句子的名词性成分即主语、宾语的限制对完句的影响。 本文从认知语法中背景设置(grounding)的角度,试图对完句条件作一个较为全面的分析和解释。根据兰盖克(Langacker),每个言语事件都涉及背景设置,背景设置使言语行为的参与者能够建立起与话语所表示的事件或过程的心理联系。单个的名词或是动词词干只能指一个类(type),而名词词组或限定分句才能指类中的一个例示(instance)。名词短语和句子都必须通过背景设置使类转化为例才能建立起例示和言语行为者之间的联系。名词通...
