　　传统理论认为,隐喻是把两类不同事物之间含蓄地进行比较以表明其相似关系的比喻。相似是隐喻的基础。随着对隐喻研究的不断深入和发展,有关学者逐渐认识到任何具有相似点的事物都可以用隐喻的方式去认知,整个人的认知系统都呈现出隐喻化的特点。既然隐喻广泛地运用在生活当中,对其进行更深一步的研究是颇具科学价值的。。 由于隐喻的认知复杂性,隐喻口译给译员带来很多困难。况且隐喻本身又是一种文化负载词,必须将其放在文化语境之中进行口译,这就更增加了口译的难度。所以隐喻口译的过程不能仅限于简单的语言转换,还包括文化语境构建,才能达到最佳的口译效果。文化语境是关联理论中一个重要的认知要素,只有将其放在认知语境中进行分析会得出更加理想的口译效果。 本研究根据关联理论引入一个明示-推理交际模式来进行隐喻口译研究。并借助该模式构建一个认知框架,以便最终能够提出一个隐喻口译的具体操作程序。根据该程序,隐喻口译将口译分解为两个过程:明示过程和推理过程。译员首先需要推理出发言人的交际意图,再用目的语将发言人的意图明示给听众。在这两个过程当中,译员都需要对认知语境进行对比分析,实现最佳关联从而提高隐喻口译质量。
