【摘要】:本文分别抽取《我的安东妮亚》中四个相对应的英汉文本进行对比分析,旨在探讨英汉两种语言在及物性过程方面的异同。具体来说,本研究试图解决三个研究问题:(1)《我的安东妮亚》的英汉文本分别包含哪些及物性过程?(2)英汉及物性过程的分布有何异同?(3)造成这些异同的因素是什么?本文以韩礼德系统功能语法的及物性为理论基础,采取定量分析与定性分析相结合的方式对样本进行了分析。定量分析主要是呈现各个及物性过程在样本中的分布情况,定性分析不仅用于分析英汉间的过程转换,表现及物性在揭示主人公安东妮亚性格特征的适用性,也用于揭示英汉及物性过程的异同。通过中英及物性过程的比较和对比,本研究获得六个发现。相同点:(1)汉语中六个及物性过程的分布大体上与其英语原文保持一致;(2)在小句主语不明确或者不清楚的情况下,英语和汉语的及物性过程均采用被动语态。不同点:(1)英语的关系过程与汉语的关系过程在关系连接动词的组成成分方面存在差异;(2)英语多用被动语态,汉语多用主动语态。汉语通过在物质过程动词前添加“把”“让”将英语被动语态的物质过程转换为主动语态;(3)英语的关系过程转换为汉语的物质过程主要是由于静态词转换为动态词造成的;(4)在应对英语系表结构“get+adjective"的及物性过程时,汉语通常会增加或删减其中的过程类型。造成“get+adjective"结构的及物性过程发生过程转换的原因主要是忽略了翻译“get”这个动词的意思并增译了一个新的动词,同时,"get+adjective"结构中形容词意思的不具体性是造成过程转换的另一原因。英汉及物性的异同主要归结于小说的主题和体裁与及连接词在中英文本中的使用情况。小说的主题及体裁影响及物性过程的分布,连接词在中英文小句构建中的不同作用是造成及物性过程转换的主要原因。
