【摘要】：英国著名女作家玛格丽特·德拉布尔是当代最具影响力的作家之一,当下仍活跃在英国文坛。她主要以女性小说闻名,擅长用现实主义的手法描写当代知识女性的生存状况,探讨当代女性的理想生活道路。《金色的耶路撒冷》是德拉布尔最具自传性质的作品,也被认为是其最好的一部,并于1976年斩获了布莱克小说纪念奖。作为一部反映女性如何寻求和实现自我价值的作品,小说生动形象地向我们展示了19世纪60年代英国知识女性的普遍面貌。鉴于作者的女性身份以及《金色的耶路撒冷》的写作主题,国内外的学者主要从女性主义和现实主义的角度研究这部小说,很少关注文本本身的结构。本文尝试以结构主义理论为视角,从内部结构透视并重新解读这部著作。引言部分是对德拉布尔的文学成就和小说《金色的耶路撒冷》的介绍,以及对这部小说国内外研究的简要概述。此外,对本文所引用的结构主义理论也做了简要的介绍,结构主义把文学作品都看作在表面上描写某种外在现实,暗中却遵循自身的规律。主体部分包括三章,第一章以结构主义理论为理论框架主要应用二元对立分析文本中的对立现象;第二章运用普洛普在俄国民间童话中提炼的叙事结构来解读文本,这个叙事结构为揭开文本的深层结构提供了系统而科学的基础;第三章采用格雷马斯的语义方阵和叙事语法分析文本的深层及表层结构。结语部分强调了文本的研究意义。本文用结构主义理论对《金色的耶路撒冷》进行解读,探讨在现实世界里德拉布尔如何为知识女性寻找出路,鼓励女性勇敢地面对困境,努力改变自己的命运,为自己的人生做出自由的选择。结构主义不仅帮助我们加深了对《金色的耶路撒冷》这部小说的理解,更让我们体会到了德拉布尔伟大的人道主义精神。结构主义为文学作品的解读提供了新颖的视角和有益的帮助。
