【摘要】：近几年,随着李娜夺得2011年和2014年的两项大满贯单打冠军,国内网球热潮逐渐兴起。而在所有网球赛事中,在英国举办的温布尔顿网球公开赛是历史最悠久的网球赛事,且在网坛有着无可替代的重要地位。创办于1785年的综合性日报《泰晤士报》是英国的重要大报之一,在世界范围内传播力、影响力首屈一指。在当前新媒体不断崛起、全球报业受到冲击的背景下,英国报业仍屹立不倒,而《泰晤士报》在记者团队、报道内容、图片、标题等方面长期积累的丰富经验也使其在全球纸媒中独树一帜。国内现存关于《泰晤士报》体育报道研究大多集中于奥运会等大型综合赛事,涉及该报网球运动报道的研究较为匮乏。因此,笔者通过《泰晤士报》温网报道研究,可在一定程度上,丰富国内关于西方媒体体育报道研究和网球报道研究,同时在当前国内网球热情不断高涨的背景下,为我国媒体的网球报道和传播提供参考。本文的文献综述部分,从时间上进行划分,整理了早期国内研究成果以及在2003年该报“小报化”改革后的研究成果。通过列举、整理代表性的学术论文,呈现了国内有关《泰晤士报》的研究现状,一方面为本文写作提供理论依据和基础,另一方面也试图寻找该领域研究的空白。本文采用文献资料法、数理统计法和内容分析法,选取了2013-2015年《泰晤士报》温网期间的网球报道为研究对象,对其报道的特点进行研究和分析。第一,本文对比了《泰晤士报》在温网和其他三大满贯期间的报道数量,发现其对于本土赛事的重视程度远高于其他同级别的大满贯赛事,赛事期间每日报道数量的走势总体呈现“M”型,其记者团队都有着丰富的体育媒体从业背景。第二,本文分析了温网期间的《泰晤士报》在报道版面和栏目设置、标题、图片、图表等方面的特点和规律。在赛事期间报纸设立“体育·温网”专版,版面设计上突出大幅彩图增加视觉冲击,除正式主体稿件外,还设置花絮报道“温网60秒”小栏目;正式主体赛事稿件的标题以一般现在时为主,且多主谓宾结构,并活用修辞,使其更具体生动;花絮小版块“温网60秒”的标题多简短且口语化;图片报道则以动态图片和面部特写居多;《泰晤士报》对于图表的灵活运用体现了其体育报道的专业性。第三,本文分析了温网期间的《泰晤士报》在报道内容和体裁方面的特点和规律。该报的报道体裁以消息为主,辅以通讯和评论,消息注重赛场内外全景呈现,包含了比赛战报和场外花絮;通讯则细致展现比赛内容并夹叙夹议,具有深度性;评论从专业角度为读者解读比赛。第四,本文分析了《泰晤士报》温网期间的报道对象,注重报道明星球员和本土球员,明星球员以网坛“四巨头”为主,对于本土球员则在他们有限的登场时间内进行充分、及时报道。在本文中,笔者还提出了《泰晤士报》温网报道局限性,包括体育报道的过度“娱乐化”和女性报道较少。最后,本文对《泰晤士报》的温网报道特点和规律进行总结,并结合当下我国网球传播的现状和特点,从记者团队专业性建设、报道数量提升、增加评论比重、适当运用图表和增加花絮报道等方面提出了建议。
