媒介嵌入与佛教的现代转型——以新佛教运动中的《海潮音》为例

【摘要】：近代中国的社会转型,既是以外来冲击和示范为诱因,又以既有格局与秩序为背景。其间的发展与演进,彰显出制度的镶嵌、渗入与竞合。作为社群组织之一,汉传佛教的僧团、僧界亦复如是。本文试图以《海潮音》在这一过程中所起作用为切入点,从现代佛教的"入世"取向在其内容上的呈现与影响上的展开为线索,探讨作为嵌入之物的近代化媒介及其所承载的交往方式被引入佛教社群后,对其共享观念、社会功能以及聚合形态所产生的影响,并透视此类嵌入在中国的传统社群的现代化转型中的形塑作用。通过研究本文发现,当一种新的媒介嵌入社会之中时,就必然会对这个社会的关系网络产生变革。媒介不仅仅改变了人们的交往方式,更以此改变了人们的社交网络。《海潮音》提供了一个平台使得一种观念的共同体得以实现,这种观念的共同体又与线下的佛学院相互结合进而形成了新型的佛教共同体,促使了现代佛教的转型,同时这种转型也与根植于世俗火宅的《海潮音》发行网络有着分不开的关系。
[Abstract]:The social transformation of modern China is not only the inducement of external shocks and demonstrations, but also the background of the existing pattern and order. The development and evolution of the society shows the inlay, infiltration and competition of the system. As one of the social groups, the Buddhist monks and monks in the Han Dynasty are also more complex. From the introduction of modern Buddhism's "entry into WTO" orientation in its content and influence, it explores the influence of the modern medium and the way of communication carried by the Buddhist community to the Buddhist community, and the influence on its sharing concept, social function and the form of polymerization, and the perspective of this kind of embedded tradition in China. It is found that when a new medium is embedded in the society, it will inevitably change the network of social relations. The media not only changes the way people communicate, but also changes people's social network. The "sea tide" provides a platform to make a view. The community of thought was realized. The community of ideas combined with the Buddhist Colleges under line and formed a new type of Buddhist community, which promoted the transformation of modern Buddhism. At the same time, this transformation was inseparable from the network of "sea tide", which was rooted in the secular fire house.
