清末民初南洋华人族群认同的发展走向——以新加坡华文报刊的社会功能为例

【摘要】：清末民初的新加坡华文报刊具有很强的时代性,其对19世纪末20世纪初海外华人的生活进行了细致入微而又立体多维的观照。从族群认同角度,反映了不同时期华人对于国家认同观的变迁。文章从华文报刊的社会功能入手,着重考察华文报刊上体现出的不同时期华人对民族文化和身分问题的不同认识,指出在文化多元的新加坡,族群认同的发展从单向同化走向流动复合的过程。
[Abstract]:Singapore Chinese newspapers and periodicals in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China had a strong epoch, which gave a detailed and multidimensional view of the life of overseas Chinese at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. From the perspective of ethnic identity, it reflects the changes of Chinese national identity in different periods. Starting with the social functions of Chinese newspapers and periodicals, the article focuses on the different understanding of Chinese culture and identity in different periods, and points out that in Singapore, where culture is diverse, The development of ethnic identity is from unidirectional assimilation to flowing recombination.
