[Abstract]:The age of McLuhan is over, but his thoughts are worth forever. The logical inheritance of McLuhan should be this: keep the direction of his thoughts and cross the walls of his thoughts. The "new and new media" we see today are constantly making such leapfrogging. When McLuhan says, "Human feelings-all media are their extensions-are the same electrical charges that hold on to our body's energy" (1964), he is saying that human perception and experience are connected.
