组蛋白甲基酶的研究新进展

【摘要】:正组蛋白甲基酶(SMYD)是组蛋白赖氨酸甲基转移酶的一个亚家族,至今已发现SMYD家族有5个成员,即SMYD1~5。SMYD可以甲基化组蛋白,也可以甲基化非组蛋白如p53蛋白、视网膜母细胞瘤肿瘤抑制基因(Rb)蛋白等,其通过甲基化作用可以在转录水平影响靶基因的表达,调控细胞增殖与分化。在哺乳动物,SMYD与多个系统的形成和发育密切相关,同时在肿瘤的发生和演进过程中发挥重要生物学功能。对其进一步的研究将为多种疾病的诊治提供新的思路。
[Abstract]:Histone methylase (SMYD) is a subfamily of histone lysine methyltransferase. So far, it has been found that the SMYD family has five members, that is, SMYD1~5.SMYD can methylate histone, but also methylate non-histone such as p53 protein. Retinoblastoma tumor suppressor gene (Rb) protein can affect the expression of target gene and regulate cell proliferation and differentiation at the transcriptional level by methylation. SMYD is closely related to the formation and development of multiple systems in mammals and plays an important biological role in tumorigenesis and progression. Further study will provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.
