聆听自然的呼唤：从生态伦理角度解读杰克·伦敦的动物小说

　　面对当今日趋严峻的全球生态问题,以尊重自然、善待动物、保护环境为宗旨的生态伦理思想迅速成为学术界关注的热点。同时,赋予文学作品崭新的生态内涵和意义也成为生态伦理学与文学批评发展的必然趋势。本文以杰克·伦敦的《野性的呼唤》、《白芳》和《杂种巴塔特》三部具有代表性的动物小说为例,以生态伦理为切入点来解读三部作品中自然的价值以及人与动物、人与自然、人与人之间的关系,通过运用生态伦理学的相关理论对文本的分析揭示出作者对人类中心主义弊端的批判和对社会自然生态和人文生态遭受破坏的担忧,进而展现小说中所蕴含的作者早期的、独特的生态伦理思想。通过从新的角度解读经典文学作品中人与自然的关系,挖掘出其已有的生态伦理思想,本文希望赋予经典文学作品更大的阐释空间,进而也盼望能够给现代人以生态伦理道德上的启迪,深刻地反思并改造自身的行为和伦理道德准则,以实现人类社会的可持续发展。
