[Abstract]:Sleep is the basic physiological and psychological needs of the human body. Sleep deprivation caused by various reasons can have an impact on all aspects of human body functions, especially cognitive function, including memory, attention and alertness. Studying the mechanism of sleep deprivation on cognition is not only an effective way to explore the mechanism of sleep, but also provides a basis for countermeasures. Therefore, some preliminary conclusions have been obtained through brain functional imaging, psychological science evaluation, electrophysiological methods and so on, but a unified evaluation method has not yet been formed. Domestic research focuses on the evaluation methods of psychology. The effects of sleep deprivation on cognitive function were studied by electrophysiological method. Different from general psychological research methods, this method can not only study the functional responses to external stimuli, but also study the state of spontaneous function of the brain. In this study, electrophysiological methods based on EEG data were used to evaluate the effects of sleep deprivation on cognitive activity. Because the human body in the cognitive process is often directly faced with the feeling and psychological memory rather than the feeling and psychology itself, even when there is no obvious memory, there are sensory memory and short-term memory to play a role. Therefore, this study focuses on the effects of sleep deprivation on memory, especially short-term memory. According to the theory of short-term memory in cognitive psychology and the latest research results, the experiment was carried out by using different stimulative materials, including the memory materials of different colors of vision and different arrays of hearing. The damage caused by sleep deprivation was evaluated from visual to auditory. The previous methods of electrophysiological analysis mainly used event-related potential (Event-related Potential, ERP) component analysis, only from a single brain area to study the psychological cognitive function. However, because the cognitive process of the brain is the result of the integration of the functional regions of the brain, this study adopts the evaluation and research methods of paying close attention to the synchronization of the brain regions, through the correlation analysis of EEG data and the analysis of brain FFT imaging. To explore the effect of sleep deprivation on short-term memory. In this study, we found that sleep deprivation mainly caused the deviation and concentration of reduced brain activity and the decrease of the correlation between the functional areas. It was found that the damage of sleep deprivation to the visual memory was mainly caused by the influence on the frontal lobe. Thus, the function and function of the coding stage of memory are reduced. The impairment of auditory memory mainly affects parietal lobe and temporal lobe, thus impairing the function and function of memory extraction stage.
