WONCA研究论文摘要汇编——家长对全科医生应用抗生素治疗急性呼吸道感染患儿的效果期望及实际治疗情况的调查研究
[Abstract]:Objective antibiotics are commonly used to treat children with acute respiratory tract infection (ARI). Parents are often blamed for asking general practitioners to prescribe antibiotics to their children. The purpose of this study was to investigate parents' views on the necessity of antibiotic therapy, to quantify their expectations of the benefits of antibiotic use, to report their experiences in other treatments, and to report their preference to participate in and make decisions together. Methods the method of computer-aided telephone interview was used in this study. Participants were selected from the primary caretaker (parent) of 12-year-old children in various Australian communities who were contacted by random family fixed-line calls. Results A total of 14 505 telephone numbers were dialed, of which 10 340 were valid numbers. 589 parents were contacted by phone, 401 of whom were interviewed. The vast majority (92%) of the parents surveyed believed that antibiotics were effective in treating common acute upper respiratory tract infections, especially acute otitis media, despite the treatment of these diseases, especially acute cough, sore throat, It is sometimes possible not to use antibiotics. Parents overestimated the efficacy of antibiotics by 5 to 10 times, and they think antibiotics can reduce complications. Most (78%) parents realize that antibiotics can be harmful. Looking back on the experience of seeing a child recently, 44% of the parents said they had discussed with the GP at least why they were treated with antibiotics, and they did not agree with the GP in this regard. 75% of parents want to be more involved in clinical decisions for follow-up treatment. Conclusion some parents have misconceptions about the treatment of acute respiratory tract infection of children with antibiotics. They overestimate the necessity of using antibiotics and the efficacy of antibiotics. Therefore, good communication between general practitioners and parents is one of the measures to reduce the use of antibiotics in the treatment of children with acute respiratory infection.
