新成像技术能够显示整个大脑神经活动的3D影像

【摘要】:正神经编码信息如感觉数据、活动计划、情感状态和思想等都是通过成为动作电位的电脉冲来实现的,动作电位会激发细胞的钙离子通道。利用与钙结合的工程学荧光蛋白,麻省理工学院Boyden的团队与维也纳大学的研究人员共同开发了大脑绘图方法。他们已经研发出能够绘制动物整个大脑神经活动的成像体统。新方法能够调查整个神经系统的能力,帮助我们找到参与大脑疾病的细胞或网络,找到新的疗法。
[Abstract]:Positive neural coding information such as sensory data, activity planning, emotional state and thought are realized by becoming electrical pulses of action potential, which excites the calcium channel of cells. Using calcium-bound engineering fluorescent proteins, MIT Boyden's team and researchers at the University of Vienna developed brain mapping methods. They have developed imaging systems that can map the entire brain activity of animals. New methods can investigate the ability of the entire nervous system, help us find cells or networks involved in brain disease, and find new treatments.
