[Abstract]:Objective: to evaluate the influence of sleep apnea disorder (sleep-disorderedbreathing,SDB) on traffic accident rate of drivers, and to explore whether drivers with sleep apnea disorder have higher risk of traffic accidents than non-sleep breathing disorder drivers. Methods: the relevant literatures on the relationship between sleep apnea and drivers' traffic accidents were retrieved from the Bios is Preview / Pubmed computer retrieval system. The Chinese key words include "sleep apnea", "drowsiness", "sleepiness", and "sleep apnea", "sleepiness", "sleep apnea", "drowsiness", and "sleep apnea" in Chinese. "Traffic accident" and "risk", English keywords include sleepapnea, sleepiness, drivers, accidents, crashes and risk. And the full text of the reference for retrospective retrieval as a supplement. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the literature was screened, the quality was evaluated, and the data was extracted. Finally, ReviewManager5.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results: a total of 4 case-control studies were conducted and meta analysis was performed on 1459 drivers and 1584 control drivers. The results showed that sleep apnea disorder could increase the risk of traffic accident in drivers. The results of meta analysis showed that the risk of traffic accidents in drivers with sleep breathing disorder was significantly higher than that in drivers without sleep apnea disorder [OR=2.17,95%CI (1.41 卤3.33) P 0.05]. Conclusion: compared with drivers with non-sleep apnea disorder, drivers with sleep apnea disorder have an increased risk of traffic accidents.
