【摘要】："五四"思潮是中外两种文化精神在不断的交流、碰撞、冲突下激荡出的一股时代潮流。若以中国传统的内部视野观照就是积淀在民族意识深处的文化精神的现代创造性转化的建构历程。以胡适《戴东原的哲学》为例发掘这种建构历程的具体内容。胡适的《戴东原的哲学》虽然自觉地引入并运用西方的科学方法,但他不自觉地植根于中国的具体的历史情境及文化背景中,自然能承接积淀在其心灵深处的传统文化精神,对传统"理""知"命题重新估定。胡适发现戴震哲学不仅是对宋明理学"得于天而具于心"理念的消解,而且进一步修正了"理""知"的内容以解决社会人生的切要问题,其中激荡于胡适内心深处的正是中国传统开拓进取的精神。
