杨昌济学术思想探论

【摘要】:杨昌济的学术思想起源于湖湘文化,有着传统理学的深刻烙印,发展至中期又吸收了近代以来西学思想的部分精髓,最后在其对于现实理性思考的基础上呈现出以教育、伦理和哲学为主体的、具体而微的学术思想内容。透过杨昌济的学术思想发展,可以窥视中国近代学术思想转型的轨迹。 杨昌济的学术思想经历了几个不同的阶段:幼年时受到家庭教育的影响埋头于传统宋明理学的刻苦钻研,以王夫之、曾国藩等人为师追寻先贤的思想,奠定传统儒学思想理论之基;少年时经历甲午战争之殇后有所感悟,始弃程朱之说转而问道于资产阶级改良派的主张,寄希望于通过变法来改变当时中国衰败的现状;青年时留学国外数十载积极吸收西方教育、伦理、哲学等各种资产阶级进步思想,开始认真思索救国之道,初步形成中西观点融合的一家之言;中年时教书育人不忘理论研究,发出“欲栽大木柱长天”的感叹,,学术思想走向总体成熟。 杨昌济的学术思想代表了中国近代资产阶级改良派的观点,具有鲜明的爱国主义色彩,但同时又不可避免地存在着一定的现实局限性。他提倡“教育救国论”,将教育视为国家振兴的根本途径,并强调通过教育这种相对温和而缓慢的方式实现救国的终极目标;他系统地引进了西方资产阶级的伦理学,激烈的批判中国传统的“三纲”伦理,认为传统中的许多伦理桎梏了民主、自由的根本愿望,竖起了现代伦理学道德进步的大旗,他秉持唯心主义的哲学观点,对唯物主义并不赞同。
[Abstract]:Yang Changji's academic thoughts originated in Huxiang culture, has a profound imprint of traditional science, development to medium and absorb the essence of western part of thought in modern times, and finally the basis for rational thinking on the reality show to education, ethics and philosophy as the main body, and academic thought. Through the micro content the development of academic thought of Yang Changji, can peep China academic thinking of modern transformation.
The academic thought of Yang Changji has experienced several stages: childhood under the influence of family education in the traditional Neo Confucianism assiduously, with Wang Fuzhi, Zeng Guofan et al for pursue sages thought, traditional Confucianism lay theoretical basis; youth experience a war after the war at some perception, was abandoned Chengchu said turn to ask the bourgeois reformists advocate, in the hope that through reform to change the current situation China decline; when young people studying abroad for decades and actively absorb the western education, ethics, philosophy and other bourgeois progressive ideas, began thinking seriously of salvation, the initial formation of Chinese and Western view of fusion of the middle age teaching not statements of a school; forget the theoretical research, a "long day for planting the pins" sigh, the academic trend overall maturity.
The academic thought of Yang Changji on behalf of the China bourgeois reformist views, with distinctive patriotic, but also inevitably has some practical limitations. He advocated the "salvation of education", the fundamental way of education as a national revitalization, and emphasizes the education this relatively gentle and slow way to achieve the ultimate goal of salvation; he systematically introduced western bourgeois ethics, Chinese traditional "three cardinal guides" ethical criticism intense, that many of the ethical tradition the shackles of democracy and fundamental desire freedom, raised the moral progress of modern ethics banner, he upholds the philosophy of idealism, materialism does not agree with.
