　　本文运用批评性语篇分析、合作原则和目的原则,对萨达姆在审判过程中的法庭应答语进行研究。作者从词汇分类、人称代词和情态等方面对其应答形式进行了分析,进而指出萨达姆是如何运用语言策略来实现其政治目的的。 此项研究把批评性语篇分析和法律语言学结合起来,拓展了相关研究范围;分析了法庭应答语中的语言策略及其作用,旨在提高人们的批评性语言意识。希望此项研究能够对中国的法律工作者具有一定的参考价值。此外,本研究对英语教学具有一定的借鉴意义。作者建议在英语专业教学中介绍法律英语和法律语言学的相关知识。
