《中华人民共和国合同法》两种英译本对比研究

翻译虽是一种实践性很强的跨文化交际活动,仍需理论来指导。在东西方国家出现的众多理论中,尤金·奈达的“功能对等”理论是最为广泛接受的理论之一。奈达认为:“翻译就是在译语中再造出首先在意义上,其次在风格上与原语信息最切近而又自然的对等信息。”在将其理论运用于具体的翻译工作时,奈达提出了一些实现功能对等的基本原则。 中文法规因其特殊的社会功能,其语言从词汇,句法,篇章乃至风格方面都有其特殊之处。本论文依据奈达的翻译理论对《中华人民共和国合同法》两个中英对照本(1999年分别由法制出版社和外文出版社出版)的英译文进行了比较研究,目的在于探索在中文法规英译中实现“最切近而又自然的对等”的有效方法,同时探讨《中华人民共和国合同法》英译文在翻译方面的某些可取或不当之处。 本论文共四章。第一章简要介绍了奈达的“功能对等”理论及其在法规翻译中的应用。第二章对《中华人民共和国合同法》及其现有的两种中英对照译本作了简介,并以中华人民共和国合同法为基础,重点讨论了中文法规的风格和语言特点。第三、四两章是论文的主体,系对上述两个译本进行的详细的比较研究。第三章从准确传达原文意义方面出发,主要探讨了译...
