功能目的论视角下商务合同英译的研究

随着经济的全球化和中国进入WTO，中国的对外经济业务增长快速，商务合同愈来愈显示出其重要性。因而，对商务合同翻译进行多视角研究是必要的。作为应用翻译的一个分支，许多学者对商务合同翻译进行了不同视角的研究：有从文体学视角进行研究的，也有从功能对等理论视角进行研究的，他们都提出了许多指导性的翻译策略和翻译原则，这是一件值得欣喜的事。本文将尝试从另一视角——即从功能目的论视角去研究商务合同的翻译。目前，功能目的论已被广泛地应用于各种应用文体的翻译，如广告翻译、电影翻译以及商标翻译等等。然而运用功能目的论的相关理论去研究商务合同翻译的文章却较少，更少有人进行过系统深入地研究。通过分析，笔者认为功能目的论同样适用于商务合同文本的翻译，从而能指导商务合同的翻译。根据目的论相关理论，本文先分析商务合同的翻译过程和翻译要求；再根据商务合同的交际目的来分析商务合同的文本类型，从而找出适合于它的翻译策略；然后探讨在此翻译策略指导下的商务合同的翻译原则和翻译方法。总之，本论文将从一个新的视角，即从功能目的论出发来探讨商务合同的翻译策略和原则，以期为商务合同翻译提供整体指导，从而提高商务合同的翻译质量。
