中国工业出口强度与工资残差不平等——基于中国综合社会调查数据的分析

【摘要】:本文利用中国综合社会调查数据,实证检验了中国工业出口强度与行业内部工资不平等的非单调关系。研究表明,出口强度与不平等间存在显著的"倒U型"关系,即不平等首先随着出口强度的增加而上升,到达顶峰之后逐步回落,实证结果在多项扩展研究中表现稳健。本文进一步利用DFL方法将不平等分解为价格效应和结构效应,研究发现价格效应是不平等变化的主要因素,所以出口主要通过改变劳动力技能回报影响不平等。本文认为,中国深化改革离不开扩大开放,工业发展需要瞄准精加工、提升产品质量这一供给侧结构性改革目标,更加积极地参与全球市场竞争,从而达到提升出口强度、获取出口工资溢价、提高行业整体收入水平的目的;同时,也能够降低行业内的收入分化,刺激居民的消费需求,促进整体经济的良性发展。
[Abstract]:Based on China's comprehensive social survey data, this paper empirically examines the non-monotonous relationship between industrial export intensity and wage inequality within the industry. The study shows that there is a significant "inverted U-type" relationship between export intensity and inequality, that is, inequality rises with the increase of export intensity, then decreases gradually after reaching the peak. The empirical results are robust in many extended studies. In this paper, we further use DFL method to decompose inequality into price effect and structural effect. It is found that price effect is the main factor of inequality change, so export affects inequality mainly by changing labor skill return. This paper holds that China's deepening reform cannot do without opening wider to the outside world, and industrial development needs to aim at finishing, improve the supply-side structural reform objective of product quality, and participate more actively in the global market competition so as to increase export intensity. At the same time, it can reduce the income differentiation in the industry, stimulate the consumption demand of the residents, and promote the healthy development of the whole economy.
