A Research on the Impact of RMB Appreciation on China-Vietna

　　评估汇率贬值或升值对贸易流动的传统方法是通过测量贸易量的相对价格弹性。这种研究在很大程度上依赖于两国贸易的汇总数据。近期主要通过双边贸易数据和引力模型方法进行研究。本文使用贸易引力模型评估货币升值或贬值对中国和越南两国之间的贸易流动的影响。鉴于目前的升值前景和中国在世界贸易中的大份额,我们发现中国的正在走向更加灵活的汇率制度,虽然这种灵活的汇率制度本意并非解决中国的顺差问题但还是对美国和欧盟这些与中国有巨大贸易逆差的国家带来了重大影响。然而,许多研究人员仍然认为,按目前的巨大贸易顺差规模,人民币汇率可能无法单独解决贸易失衡。越南作为一个与中国有着长久贸易关系的邻国必然受到人民币汇率浮动的影响。在这项研究中,我们希望利用1991至2009年期间的一系列贸易数据,找到明确证据来证明人民币升值或贬值对中国与越南的贸易有显出影响。
