尼日利亚基础设施对外国直接投资的影响

本研究的主要目的是实证研究基础设施对1996-2018年尼日利亚外商直接投资流入的影响。具体而言,它试图确定尼日利亚的基础设施和外国直接投资流入之间是否存在长期关系,或者这两个宏观经济变量是否在长期内趋同。随着各国经济对投资需求的不断增加,对外商直接投资决定因素的认识成为经济文献研究的重要课题。基础设施通过促进生产力、成本和贸易对经济发展起着至关重要的作用。在这方面,本文的目的是通过使用五个基础设施指标,包括移动蜂窝用户、铁路铁路线、航空运输和海港基础设施,调查一国基础设施对该国外国直接投资水平的影响,利用1996-2018年数据的普通最小二乘模型。折衷范式形成了本研究的理论背景,强调了OLI框架的区位优势,该框架明确了基础设施在吸引FDI中的作用。结果表明,只有移动蜂窝用户和海港基础设施质量两个基础设施变量导致FDI流入增加。对调查结果的仔细分析通常突出表明,尼日利亚虽然是一个大市场,资源丰富,但在基础设施方面仍落后于其他国家,这使得外国投资者难以像预期的那样进入该国进行投资。特别是电力基础设施和铁路基础设施表现不佳,考虑到这两个子部门在任何经济增长中的作用,必须紧急复苏它们,以确保...
