德国工程力学大师马格努斯的学术贡献

【摘要】：德国工程力学大师马格努斯(Kurt Magnus,1912—2003)于1912年生于德国的马格德堡(Magdeburg).1932年毕业于哥廷根大学.历任哥廷根大学讲师,斯图加特工业大学教授,慕尼黑工业大学教授和力学研究所所长,德国力学期刊Archive of Applied Mechanics的主编,直至1980年退休.2003年以91岁高龄病逝于慕尼黑.马格努斯是德国工程动力学学科当之无愧的引领人.他和他的学生在德国工程动力学领域引领了一代发展进程.文中简要叙述马格努斯在刚体动力学、陀螺力学、多体系统动力学等学科以及力学教育领域内的杰出贡献.
[Abstract]:Kurt Magnusn 1912-2003, a German master of engineering mechanics, was born in (Magdeburg)., Germany, in 1912, and graduated from the University of Gottingen in 1932. Lecturer at the University of Gottingen, Professor of Stuttgart University of Technology, Professor and Director of the Institute of Mechanics, Munich University of Technology, editor of the German journal Archive of Applied Mechanics, until his retirement in 1980. He died in Munich at the age of 91 in 2003. Magnus is a well-deserved leader in engineering dynamics in Germany. He and his students have led a generation of developments in the field of engineering dynamics in Germany. This paper briefly describes Magnus' outstanding contributions in the fields of rigid body dynamics, gyrodynamics, multi-body system dynamics and mechanics education.
