【摘要】：正《易》之有《旅》,其源维远;《庄》之有《游》,厥义实木。仓廪实而知礼节,衣食足而思遨游;读万卷书而意未央,行万里路则神自畅。时代发展,旅游与会展行业兴起;风云际会,河南财经政法大学旅游与会展学院成立。旅游与会展学院起源于1995年原河南财经学院贸易系的旅游管理专业,2002年元月河南财经学院旅游系成立,2009年5月正式更名为旅游与会展学院。学院是以河南财经政法大学经济、管理学科优势为依托而建立的以本科为主的专业学院。目前,学院共有在校本科生713人,旅游管理在校研究生8人。学院现有旅游管理、会展经济与管理两个本科专业,均为河南省高校同类专业中最早获批并招收本科生的专业。其中,旅游管理专业是省级重点学科、省级特色专业,早在2006年就获得了硕士学位授予权;会展经济与管理专业是2006年获批、2008年招生的河南省最早的会展本科专业。2004年,学院在省内高校中首批获得国家旅游局颁发的"旅游规划丙级
