少数族群的社会融合:威尔士借助语言的民族构建

  多元化的少数民族,虽然人口不多,但却构成了多元文化的威尔士。鉴于威尔士日益增强的种族和文化多样性,一个恢复自治权的政府拥有更好的机会结构去解决社会融合问题,采取民族建构策略。虽然威尔士有比以前更多的机会和权力来应对社会一体化议题,但少数民族群体的威尔士认同仍被忽视。更严重的是,因为威尔士政府没有重视这个问题,妥善管理并给予公民明确的民族认同,种族多样性对威尔士的社会一体化和凝聚力构成了一定威胁。与此同时,威尔士出现了一股语言复兴潮流,政府正积极将威尔士语法制化,为民族建构提供了有效手段。在这个背景下,本文建议突出强调文化领域的威尔士民族建构事业应该针对少数民族群体并通过威尔士语复兴展开。因此,本文旨在评估威尔士是否可以威尔士语的日常使用实现对少数族群的社会融合,以及少数民族在日常生活中如何通过学习和使用威尔士语增强对威尔士的民族认同感。本文试图回答威尔士民族建构是如何通过语言实现社会融合,希望填补针对少数民族的威尔士民族认同的学术空白。更重要的是,本文希望为其他地区或国家的类似情况提供经验教训。关于英国的民族建设工程如何针对少数民族进行社会融合的问题,已有许多著作。文献综述主要围绕威尔...
